Fiveways Group, a municipal and commercial vehicle hire solutions provider, has resigned its contract hire agreement with Broxbourne Council. Fiveways has held this contract since 2017. The new lease will commence on 1 November 2024 and extends over five years, with an option to extend for two additional years.
Under the new contract, Fiveways Group will supply Broxbourne Council with ten refuse collection vehicles. The fleet comprises Dennis Eagle RCVs equipped with Terberg split and trade lifts.
As part of its ongoing commitment to safety and innovation, Fiveways Group is exploring the integration of the latest General Safety Regulations (GSR) equipment and Digital Display Screens in these new vehicles. These enhancements are designed to ensure the safety of both the operators and the public while also providing real-time information to enhance operational efficiency.
The new fleet will be maintained at Fiveways’ workshop facility in Basildon, Essex. This site has the latest tools and technology to conduct comprehensive service inspections, MOTs, and tacho calibrations. Fiveway’s technicians ensure that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, guaranteeing their reliability and performance.
A spokesperson for Broxbourne Council commented: ‘We are pleased to continue our partnership with Fiveways.
