Waste and recycling vehicle manufacturer Dennis Eagle has appointed long-serving board member Keith Day as the new Managing Director.
He has taken over the role from Kevin Else, who retired after ten years in the post at the end of April.
Keith is a well-known figure in the waste industry, and during his 21 years at Dennis Eagle has held responsibility for Purchasing and Supply Chain, Engineering and Project Management. He has also been Engineering Director for the last 12 years.
He paid tribute to his predecessor: ‘Kevin held the reigns of Dennis Eagle while the waste management industry embarked on an unprecedented and exciting period of change. The industry is still undergoing that transition, but thanks to his leadership and clear vision, the company has thrived and remains in a solid position to meet the challenges ahead.
‘As always, our core values remain at the heart of our business. Our strategy remains the same, and I’m looking forward to meeting more of our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in the weeks and months ahead.’
Wealth of experience
Tim Conlon, Chief Executive Officer of Terberg Environmental, of which Dennis Eagle is a part, said: ‘Keith brings a wealth of experience to the role, and we have complete confidence in his ability to lead Dennis Eagle in this next chapter of the business. I am sure you will join me in wishing him every success in this new role.
‘And, I’d like to thank Kevin for his outstanding service, and we wish him the very best in his retirement.’
