Hire company Johnson Plant has purchased a new JCB electric mini excavator helped the company secure a host of new contracts.
The Esher-based company, established to supply plant to sister company Landmark Groundworks, became one of the very first customers to buy the, fully electric excavator soon after JCB launched it.
The zero-emissions, quiet 19C-1E model – supplied by dealer Greenshields JCB – has helped Johnson Plant to win several contracts.
Johnson Plant’s Director, Jake Johnson, said: ‘Staying ahead of emissions regulations is one of the toughest challenges facing plant hirers. Clients and local authorities have increasingly stringent environmental policies and site restrictions. By investing in this zero-emissions JCB machine, it guarantees we can operate on any site, no matter the location or legislation it is governed by.
