FVI – THE SHOW addresses the skills shortage with a class-leading inclusivity session

With the skills shortage crisis at an all-time high, Fleet Vision International – THE SHOW will be promoting innovation by delivering an inclusivity session, as part of the conference programme, that will provide solutions for fleet operators seeking to attract a varied workforce.

The pandemic and Brexit have emphasised more than ever that our industry needs to change to offer a more inclusive environment where all types of people can flourish.

The Inclusivity session/ Skills shortage session will focus on attracting talent to the industry from more diverse backgrounds, including more women, ethnic minorities and young people.

Ann-Marie Knegt, Creative Director Visie Communications/ Editor Fleet Vision International, will be chairing the afternoon’s proceedings.

Nathan Wilson from Allison Transmission will be delivering a highly personal account about what it means to be black in the fleet and transport industry. ‘During my presentation, I will be highlighting my personal experiences as a 40-year veteran in the industry. It is vital to have a diverse workforce. Our industry needs to celebrate inclusivity, so we can lead and become innovators.
